Jimmy was born on the beautiful island of Haiti to godly Christian parents. He came to trust Christ as his Savior at the age of 8 years old and was baptized by immersion as a teenager. Soon after his baptism Jimmy became a soul winner and Sunday School teacher at Hope Baptist Church in Cap-Haitian as well as serving in several other ministries in that local church. It was not long before Jimmy began to recognize a stirring in his heart as the Spirit began calling him into Christian ministry, and members of the church also observed that God was calling him. When. Jimmy responded positively to the call, he began his theological studies in Haiti at STBEC and then went to Bluewater Bible College & Institute on St. Thomas (USVI) where he received his Bachelor of Religious Education (BRE) degree in 2012. During his time of studies at Bluewater, Jimmy, along with other Haitian students, had the privilege of helping the First Haitian Baptist Church in St. Thomas, and it is thriving today. He then went to Bob Jones University where he received his Master of Divinity with a concentration in Biblical Counseling in 2018.
